The Quick Snap with David Andrews & Brian Hoyer
Mar 5, 2026 · 1 hr 15 min · 23 segments
Brian Hoyer and David Andrews offer their initial reactions to Stefon Diggs being released. They wonder what's next for Patriots at wide receiver. Plus, Albert Breer joins the show to talk everything…
It's one of those things, if you're going to try to make a move for a free agent, whether that's Pierce, A.J. Brown – I think if you're looking and saying, all right, if we can get A.J. Brown, we might want Diggs to take a little less.
Like, hey, I was your first 1,000-yard receiver since Julian and whatever year that was.
Like – There's not like there's a bunch of guys that were – I like the receiver room.
So I think for him, he's like, I'm not taking a pay cut after what I did, which I respect and understand.
And I think as a team, you're sitting there looking at it like, all right, we can't pay this guy all this money, especially if it's going to go down and down production-wise maybe.
Obviously, he put a post out there and said thanks, like family for life, patriot for life.
