Derek Stingley Jr.

But really, it's been allowing the big plays in the pass game.

And that's the part that's a little bit fuddling here, is that Kamari Lassiter, for instance, was viewed as one of the best young corners in football last year, played exceptionally well across from Derek Stingley.

This year, he's among the leaders in most yards allowed by a corner.

And I know people... you know, grade these things differently and there's some subjectivity to it.

He's just staying.

He sees that Derek Stingley Jr. is sitting.

He's like, okay, since Stingley's sitting, I'm going to fire this football, or the football will be fired, and it's going to be secured.

But he has to hold that middle of the field safety regardless, which is what he does there.

You have Will Anderson, Daniil Hunter.

Obviously, you have Aziz Alshair, Derek Stingley in the back end, Kamari Lassiter as well.

But they're giving up a lot of yards.

They're giving up a lot of points.

because it's the same players.

And, you know, you still have Will Anderson and Daniil Hunter and Stingley and Lassiter and, you know, the guy who keeps getting in trouble for Al-Azir.

Al-Shayer.

Al-Shayer.

The out routes to Malachi Fields, you can't throw them any better.

The out route against Stingley on his little switch route with Likely, you can't throw it any better.

The guy came up big now.

They got the running game cranked up 188 yards.

That defense is too good to have those two plays pierce them the way that it did.

That's just – the tackling was terrible.

Stingley hasn't made a play all year the way that we saw.

He was a Pro Bowl lockdown corner last year.

And that's a tough matchup.

Stingley and the ball.

What are we doing? The Texans.

They're my next one.

Those aren't even some of their top guys.

Lassiter and Stingley, like nobody fears these guys anymore.

Nobody fears these guys.

Will Anderson seems to be the only person making things happen on defense.

And man, Kamari Lasseter is getting targeted a lot.

Derek Stingley is not having a vintage Derek Stingley year.

Some of it was Stingley.

I still cut him more slack because I think they're asking him to do a lot of things that he's not as comfortable doing.

So to see that yesterday, again, against a very good defense, maybe it's not playing up to its standards, still a good unit.

there wasn't times like, Oh man, you got lucky that Stingley dropped that one.

They hit him right in the chest.

Oh, what do you see there? There was, you know, there was no receiver in the, in the picture.
