They have a defender who is better than Trey Hendrickson.

It's ju- just a fact.

It's not like Trey Hendrickson is bad.

He's better than most defensive players.

But De- Sexy Dexy is, is something else.

Uh, their prolific interior pass rusher, who missed most of last season.

Uh, and Trey Hendrickson of course, the, uh, the big, uh, transaction, the big acquisition, taking care of the edge as well.

And you look around this D, and we talked about the Broncos D and the Houston D. I think the Ravens are a top five defense as well.

Kyle Hamilton's an all-pro.

If the Bengals do choose to go heavy man, when the bucks do pass, then you do need to keep him in the pocket, right? Because if he can just run around Tristan worse than, the left side of the offensive line of scrimmage well then your corners and linebackers and safeties with their back to the line of scrimmage potentially or way off the line of scrimmage in the case of safeties playing top down they're going to have some ground to cover to contain baker in the run game so that is a potential cost if algon does do as he did at notre dame and choose to lean into some more man heavy game planning but I wonder how well the Bengals will be able to contain Baker with the strength of the left tackle in particular for Tampa, Tristan Wirfs.

There are some matchups I expect the Bengals to win elsewhere, but beating Tristan Wirfs is a tall task unless you are one of those elite edge rushers and we'll get our first look at Boye Mafe for an extended period of time to see if he can take that Trey Hendrickson type of leap that the Bengals are betting on, not necessarily to that degree, but betting on the upside there with Boye Mafe on the edge as well.

So that will be an interesting battle.

But on paper, it looks like the advantage is on the inside, and so that'll be fun to see how that plays out as well with Dexter.

If not, he's the guy for sure that could take that leap forward in terms of production, especially with the guy like Trey Henderson opposite him on passing situations.

They're going to be keying off on trying to stop Trey Hendrickson, and that one-on-one matchup between Mike Green and whoever is opposite him is going to be a treat to watch if you're a Ravens fan.

So he's the guy that I'm looking at very closely, especially early on in the year when you're playing not-so-great talents as far as passers go.

He could be a guy that can come in and make a name for himself very quickly.

There's no shot that they win the game.

So, and again, if you can stop them on early downs, force them into third and long situations and second and long situations, force them into obvious passing downs.

Yeah, like Trey Hendrickson and those guys can pin their ears back and just go rush the quarterback.

You can have them on the field in those situations.

We'll see.

We'll see Hendrickson as a first He'll probably have a better game than Miles Garrett.

Yeah, I keep forgetting Trey's there.

just think that there's too many weapons for the Colts to stop.

I remember Max Crosby is not there before I remember Trey Hendrickson is there.

I completely understand that.

I mean, Dalton Schultz.

I mean, Trey does green still on the board, right? Yeah, he does.

They could go tight end.

I don't hate that.

They did draft Keelan Rutledge this year, who I think is a good player.

They have Ed and Grim, though.

This past offseason, the Ravens arguably won the Price Pass Rush sweepstakes with the signing of Trey Hendrickson.

What type of impact do you see him having on the defense this season?

Well, look, Trey Hendrickson is the kind of pass rusher, frankly, this team has not had in a number of years.

The guy led the NFL in sacks two seasons ago.

He's got 81 career sacks over nine seasons.

At the same time, There's a reason why they moved on and got Tunsell and Josh Connerly rather than leaving him at tackle.

And, you know, he had a tough day against Trey Hendrickson.

Not a lot of people do, but against Trey Hendrickson in a joint practice.

So that's a little unclear.

The Nick Allegretti part, they've talked about how his smarts should really help the group and his ability to.
