Again, like I said this about Tuesday State of Play, that there was definitely a game that I feel like a certain somebody out there was going, oh, my God, that's amazing.

um and like i said there's a lot of games that were out there that i thought i was happy like because like i said there's games that were announced like wolf wolf among us 2 the final fantasy part 3 like all these things that people are definitely wanting um i'm happy that that happened i the of course like you said we kind of were talking about during the show too is like you get hit real big up front And then there's kind of a lull.

I do appreciate there not being so many ads, like that there was like two quote unquote ad breaks.

yeah um because like i said you could have easily gone the route of just giving us like you know half hour 45 minutes of ads and you know like they they did a solid job of like giving us game reveals different things that were happening but then of course i got to pay the bills so good for them for doing that um i did think the overall show was good i definitely can't say it's bad because there was like a lot there that was definitely world premiere worthy that definitely piqued the interest of majority of the gamers out there um unless you're just a sports bro or a call of duty bro you probably found something in the show that you liked um so and like i said obviously a lot of horror things you know people you know ryan kept saying horror games are back there was a lot of horror games in there and the number one game for me that stood out was resident evil veronica uh that was my number one game the opener um that was my number one game because i out of all the resident evils i played it's literally the only one i haven't i never played veronica i own it because i bought that steam bundle that had like all of them right and i'm sure i bought i got it like on a games of gold thing i'm sure i own the game it was just one of those like when it came out it didn't have a ps2 never had a dreamcast so i just kind of like never got a chance to play this one um so i was definitely a resident evil one two three and then straight to four like i missed code veronica um we definitely knew that this was something that was rumored um my favorite part of the whole damn thing ryan said ain't no way they're showing this game here and the first damn game you open up with is this obviously it looks great visually like that re engine is insane dude it looks so good anybody's checked out resident evil 9 this year uh yeah you'll see like it looks phenomenal um i'm very excited to play this and again like i remember people saying that co veronica was also one of the harder games that were in the series like I don't know if it was inventory management or enemies or both or all of the above.

But I remember like people mentioning how like this game was like definitely a difficult game.

I am happy to hear like obviously like with these types of games, they modernize them to where you don't have tank controls.

You don't have these like it is definitely a more modern game, which I'm totally fine for.

i love how they literally like even the replay of it is busted even the damn replay is busted like that's so crazy that that happened um but overall like this was the one game that when i saw this i was like perfect and i feel like resident evil is on such a roll when it comes to like remake new entry remake new entry and they literally haven't missed since seven came back right when seven came back and they've just been putting out hit after hit after hit uh resident mine as we speak right now is still my game of the year so far uh because of just how how amazing that game is and again if they can capcom they're putting out this and then they're still putting out monster hunter and they're still putting out street like they're doing so well as a studio and again i feel like they're just letting resident evil cook they're just like you know what resident evil team you just keep doing what you're doing because eventually they can get to resident evil zero as a remake but i mean resident evil 10 is gonna be i mean if this is as good as nine is uh i'll be for it ryan can attest to the story of this game i can't tell you if the story is good or bad i i never played it but i'm excited to play it in the reimagined version that i haven't been disappointed with yet on a remake like two three four remake haven't had a negative experience with any of those So if they treat this with the same love and care that they did those games, I'm super down.

And I get it's, you know, if this is like the first person thing, if, you know, you're not into the first person, I'm sure they'll do the third person thing just like they did with RE9.

No tank controls, no fixed camera like they haven't missed on any of these remakes yet.

Yeah, it takes the whole game takes place on like a prison island, which is like an interesting setting for the game, which we didn't get to see too much in kind of the trailer, like a few little snippets of it.

But I'm interested to see kind of how that's going to how they're going to set up, like if it's going to be like more of like Raccoon City in nine where it's going to be this open environment or if it's going to be like a more kind of narrative focused setting.
