It I mean, playing it now, you can almost see the programing through the game with the rubber band AI, and it's just like unforgivable on some level.

But it really like when you if you play Super Mario Kart, you realize how much Mario Kart 64 shaped the modern identity of that series.

And I still think some of those tracks like Toad's Turnpike are incredible.

And then also like Toad's Turnpike soundtrack to talk more about soundtracks.

So they had to redraw Luigi and give him his own look to differentiate so you could tell which one you're looking at because they're both green.

It is not, in Japan, it is not actually until Super Mario Kart that Luigi gets his own sprite in a game that eventually goes everywhere.

And they're like, okay, Luigi's his own guy.

He is not identical to Mario anymore.

the even the drivers I would have had road rage and I thought it was crazy how they just drive like I ain't seen no street lights I don't I don't even think I saw street signs I also did not see any traffic cops so I asked one of the drivers about and they were like yeah we don't really have that for real I'm like okay that's why y'all are out here driving like Super Mario Kart But whatever, I made it to every destination safely and I don't know how they do it.

I would never drive there, but it was absolutely beautiful.

There were also a lot of black people.

So it's like, as soon as I saw that, then it went to Mario Kart, and then that even brings in the lower age demographic.

We're now playing Mario Kart 8 instead of, like, Super Mario Kart or Mario Kart 64.

Yeah.

So there's that crossover.

It's an accelerant.

I would say it's like the mushroom in Super Mario Kart.

When you get that mushroom, it helps you really go super fast.

But it doesn't make you a better driver.
