NFL Week 4 Takeaways: Who Is The Best Team In The AFC?

Yeah, right now.

I mean, I really – I would have said that Buffalo would have been right with him, but with that loss to New England, I think you have to.

I mean, I'll tell you, I love Andy Reid so much, and they ran a clip or I think a quote from him during the week, and he was talking about last year, and he said – We didn't coach well enough last year.

We didn't play well enough.

We stunk last year.

Now, this is in you read the Chiefs, okay? I don't care how bad the Chiefs have been in any one season.

They never stunk, okay? But it shows you the attitude that they came into this season with.

And then you add a Kenneth Walker with a healthy Mahomes.

Man, you know, the more things change, the more they stay the same.

They are right now.

They are at the top of the AFC.

I mean, you mentioned Kenneth Walker.

He's been absolutely unreal this season, leading the league in rushing yards, yards after contact, the stuff that he's doing out there.

He had the big run as well.

Kenneth Walker has been unbelievable so far this season.

And you see why he was a Superbowl MVP last year, right? Like we all realize that now we just gave my homes a Superbowl MVP caliber running back.

If we could nitpick Kansas city a little bit, I would still say the past catcher, which unfortunately Taekwon Thornton went down with a devastating ankle injury.

I don't think we're going to be Yeah, it was just a brutal, brutal injury on a big play too.

Caught the ball, deep ball, set him up right there inside the 10-yard line.

So hoping for a speedy recovery for Taequann Thornton because you never want to see that happen to any player out there on the field.

And Rasheed Rice, he goes down with a hamstring injury.

So the pass-catching department, that can maybe be a weakness for Kansas City.

But as it stands with the run game, you give Patrick Mahomes a run game, this offense is going to score a lot of points like they did yesterday.

They are, and they're going to find ways to get guys open.

They are.
