You know, week one proved without a doubt, undeniably, that the NFL is dictated by superior match-ups, and when you have a guy like Andy Reid who's going to the Hall of Fame, multi-time Super Bowl winner, and Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce and Steve Spagnuolo and Jones on defense in that defense, if you find a guy who can have a superior match-up offensively like this running back, man, what a match-up nightmare that was.

You know, Bill Parcells used to say to me, "Do not confuse routine with commitment.

Don't confuse practice with real preparation." And it's pretty clear that Andy Reid, who I know well, since the first day he walked into Philadelphia-

... was getting the job done this summer figuring out how to use this running back against that football team on Monday night.

I think the Chiefs are really good.

Andy Reid in recent years has not committed to the run.

He's never called that many running plays and really stuck with it, but it was working with Kenneth Walker and, um, even Patrick Mahomes was running with reckless abandon, which is a little bit of a surprise.

But the Chiefs are having a lot of trouble throwing the ball downfield, and I think Mahomes' longest completion was five air yards downfield.
