#231 Turning Points Continues & Knightquest Begins

Well, speaking of Nightfall, they dropped the trailer for the first of a trilogy of animated movies.

And I don't remember if I sent it to you or if you'd already seen it, but what was your first reaction?

Well, my first reaction when I heard it, I was like on the fence just because some movies, some of those movies have been great and some have not.

And when I say not, I'm talking about Hush.

Yes.

The Hush movie.

I didn't finish it, so...

And so I was hoping that it was going to look really good and be really good.

And I'm pleasantly surprised.

I was excited for it now.

Yeah, I'm in the same boat, and I love that they've released some of the voice cast, but the man voicing Batman is Anson Mount.

He is Captain Pike on Star Trek Strange New Worlds.

He was on Hell on Wheels, and he's got just the right voice for that.

Kind of like when Bruce Greenwood did it in Batman Under the Red Hood.

Yeah, that fits right.

I mean, it's never going to be Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill again, but...

No, I think it works.

And the look of Batman, you know, we get all these different covers of Kelly Jones, Batman.

I mean, we've had to have like a dozen of

them

throughout this.

And, you know, the way that Batman looks, the animation, it incorporates some of Kelly Jones into it.

Yeah, it does have that vibe, and Batman looks like it, and it's a little anime-ish, too.

It's a little bit sharper than what we've seen with some of the animated movies recently.

Right.
