Realizing they both share a face and ambition, the pair quickly joins forces, later convincing themselves they are long-lost twins separated at birth.

United by dreams of making a name for themselves in Gotham City, they become the Trigger twins.

That night, Jean-Paul is visited in a dream by the spirit of Saint Dumas, who warns that Batman must evolve into something far more terrifying as if Gotham is ever truly to be safe.

He discovers that Harold had been secretly constructing a new vehicle, a spacecraft.

Across the city, the Trigger twins make a bold move by attempting to rob boss Danny Doyle, and pressed by their audacity, Doyle offers them employment instead of execution.

giving the pair a foothold in Gotham's criminal underworld.
