Yes, I am imagining that this is in beautiful southern Indiana and not blighted, awful, hellscape northern Indiana.

I want to talk about this show because I feel like more than The Office or 30 Rock or How I Met Your Mother, this show is speaking to like a very specific cultural and political moment.

When we talk about like the 2000s, this is obviously a late 2000s, early 2010s show.

And we just did an episode on the Great Recession and we had a whole episode on the culture of the Great Recession.

And the kind of the uniqueness of its joke worldview, I think it really does hold up.

And I still come back to Parks and Rec all the time and just throw on a few episodes for something that is going to be a reliable comfort watch.

Despite some of its corniness, I think it still has an entertaining edge over, you know, say The Office.

I think if you're making a show that is not serialized and it's just episodic, like oftentimes it's kind of you're not really leaning into that because, you know, it's kind of not really important.

It's just like a, it's a nice thing to have in the background when you're cooking or hanging out, you know, very low level, you know, volume.

Um, or Christmas movies or the office.
