Sheesh, did they get screwed.

I'm more, though, like Bruce Wayne down in the Batcave trying to figure out these jokers' latest diabolical scheme to destroy football.

And I believe I have found it.

Its name is illegal contact.

And now, here he is.

Welcome back to the Brandon Peters Show and the Batcave for our 60s Batman at 60s series as we continue on through the 1966 television phenomenon that was Batman, now in its second season here.

And joining me today, a long-awaited return on the show, our beloved author, Greg McGoon.

I'm back! I hadn't realized it had been so long.

Do we just want to talk about the episode or do we go? I

mean, I can go through it, but I wanted to note before we like they did some things that you wouldn't like when they well, they did the Batcave.

They did it because after the credits, it's always Batman and Robin sliding down the bat poles and going.

Walls jumping like Chris Bosh, jumping in the fourth.

You're dealing with the wave log, Batcave killer.

I'm writing letters to Silk, huh? Gandhi carpets you bleed on like milk.

From Hempstead to Killer Hills, Swayvo.

The studio system changed, the security changed, and you just couldn't go and see your friends back then.

You know, you could walk on a film set, you know, I'd walk on the Batman set when I was doing Nightbreed and I'm like, oh, there's the Batmobile, there's the Batcave, there's this and that.

So, um, You know, so you could you could do a lot of that.

So like Fifth Element, you could just kind of walk on the set and watch all the Mangalore heads.

And some of them are sentient, fully apparently.

Some of them are just little blobs that, you know, Batman experiments with in the Batcave.

And, you know, I guess some of them are just like he can grab a chunk of clay and throw it on some cop's face and just sort of, you know, smother him, like just shut him up for a second.

But then he doesn't have to go retrieve that piece of clay or whatever.

Gotta do it.

Dude, you walk into, like, you have, like, the whole Batcave thing, and I might have touched on this already before, but, like, then there's, like, an area in there with all, like, your suits.

I mean, and it is just a wall.

like around this whole thing with all the different bat suits you can unlock.

Hey,

Batcave, what's the percentage of him surviving a flamethrower explosion real quick, whatever? 0.001%, whatever.

I love how they set up the whole scene all heroic and shit, because he's flying the Batwing to the location, and he has to hover right there.

He gets out of there, he runs off, and he glides in.

oh well that's not robin that's a nightmare

yeah, he literally went from Robin right to Nightwing, and then in Teen Titans, yeah, the Teen Titans show, he was, like, what, Robin for a season, and then immediately into Nightwing type shit, like, and, yeah, I think you were saying that when Batman, or Dark Knight returns at the end of it, he's the, Dick Grayson takes over, you know, he gets the fucking Batcave and all that, like, I don't know.

We never get to see it.

And I feel like it's either always skipped over.
