Grant Lavock, the Australian UFO researcher, was the one who pointed me towards this clip right here.
I thought it was a genius move was hiring David Rush.
I thought that was just a stroke of genius.
I remember you were talking to me about that, and I thought, that is a great idea.
Get that guy in your
office.
Hey, wait till you see who we're going to hire next.
Can you say that?
Well, the ink is not dry yet, so I don't want to say until they get the ink dry.
Well, we'll have to stay tuned for that announcement.
Let's just say he's also been on Ross Caltart.
Okay.
Well, that's a few different people that pop into my mind.
That's going to be very interesting to see that unfold.
And he's going to
change the investigation in a whole new path.
So that took the internet by storm, I would guess.
There was a lot of people that started speculating who it was.
Many thought that it was gonna be GURB because GURB has been on Burleson's podcast and he's been helping out with sending those letters to the agencies, you know, like MITRE and all that stuff.
um and he does amazing research so it makes sense that people would think that it was him but i did a report uh because when i saw this hint from burleson um it just made made sense that the person who would be this new hire to me at least uh is jake barber and i'll explain a little bit of why uh there's like a recent uh public um presentation from Lou Elizondo where he mentioned that Jake Barber and Eric Burlison were like taking trips together to sites and that they found they stumbled upon Jack Black, the actor, once at an airport.
um so i can't say much more than i've known that um barber has been like working behind the scenes and a lot of this stuff for a while and this is something that people are very frustrated about and i completely understand that because barber um he came out like guns blazing making promises about skywatcher and how disclosure was going to happen in one year obviously none of that happened that's frustrated a lot of people myself included um but from what i've been hearing and this is why i do what i do and the way i do it because um to those who think that i just do it for like clicks and views and likes no i do this uh first of all and i'm gonna be honest here uh uh and and in my approach i grew up in a breaking news environment like 15 years i did it so i already have that wired in my brain that whenever something comes that i consider newsworthy i want to put it out after corroboration and verification and i think that this is something that a lot of the people involved in ufos that are like uh like i don't know ross even gerb i don't think they like that but that's just the way that i have always reported on my stuff so i've tried to remain um faithful to that because it's just the philosophy that i grew up with and i understand why some people don't like it if if it doesn't harm anybody and it doesn't um you know, interfere with this national security concept, which I think is flawed because it should be international security really, right? Not only self-serving to the US is what I mean.
if it doesn't harm any of that um i think it's fair to report and fair to put out and the faster the better like uh that's why we did the whole stockholm thing with uh where jake barber also said some really wild stuff because if that comes out in even if it's a semi-public setting I think it needs to be out for everybody.
And that's just the philosophy that I have.
And I understand why some people don't like it.
It's not really my problem.
