I'm also kind of good at violin, and I also kinda like public speaking, and I do some coding.

Like, why do you think Joe Rogan, uh, can talk about UFC, uh, you know, fighting and comedy and biohacking and, uh, politics and aliens? Like, all of these things don't necessarily belong together, but the only intersection of those points is him, right? And so, like, he has X factor.

He is a star.

And typically, all of that comes from this level of agency of self-acceptance, right? That, that she, Dolly Parton, Joe Rogan, they're willing to accept themselves as they were and just say, "This is what I'm into." And by doing that, people either admire that level of courage or, and/or they see a part of themselves in you.

Because the more diverse the different interests you have, the more diverse of an audience you can ultimately attract, right? Because if you are just the stock off the shelf, I drink black coffee, I'm conservative, I, I wear flannels and a trucker hat, and, uh, I have a Christian worldview, et cetera, et cetera, right? Like, right off the shelf.

And again, I'm not saying there's anything wrong with that.

That's so wild.

You know, I was watching an episode that you were on with Joe Rogan, uh, it was a while ago.

Mm-hmm.

And, and he put up this video, I wanna say it was an orca, exploding a fish.

Oh, like Joe Rogan?

Yeah.

Like the horse tranquil- Oh, to avoid COVID?

It's very staged.

Joe Rogan put it best.

It's like rooting for WWE wrestling at this point.

And, you know, it's like every- everyone's going out, and people still getting hurt, and actually, you know, sweating and bleeding and everything else, but it's predetermined.

We figured it out with no education.

We were just working off of what I saw Rogan do, Carolla do, this guy do, and we put our thing together.

Listen, for about eight years we were doing great numbers, you know, then the YouTube crisis and the fucking numbers and this.

But the whole time it's been a great ex- experience, and I thank you because you put me in the limelight with these podcasts.

I thought, I thought I saw something.

Us, us sniffing panties and shit, and people passing out.

And it's so weird with people like- After I left LA, we had all that heat garbage from the Joe Rogan tape, and I had these people like, "Oh my God, you were having sex at the office."

What? [laughs]

He shaped many of the memes and clips that flooded TikTok and Instagram during the campaign, and helped bring young men into the Republican fold, while also taking a bat to Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.

As the CEO of X Strategies, Alex works outside the White House, but still closely with Trump's team, and he remains one of the president's top liaisons to podcasters and celebrities like Joe Rogan and Nicki Minaj, even as the president's approval ratings take a tumble.

Alex has blunt opinions about politicians and how they should make content and compete for attention online.

I asked him who's good at it, who's bad at it, which Democrats he's worried about heading into 2028, and which Republican candidate the MAGA internet might support after Trump leaves office.

He's a little bit boring.

And so, um, you know, I think that there's gonna be a, try to be a copycat effect in, in 2028.

But for us, reaching the low-propensity voters, going on shows like Theo Von, Andrew Schulz, Joe Rogan.

You know, Joe Rogan's got the number one show in America for Black men.

But never on Spotify.

Like I never seen a Joe Rogan podcast live stream on Spotify.

He does it on YouTube.

The live ones that he does, those fight companions.

[laughs] I mean, look, if this gets him to somehow actually advocate- But yeah, I love it ... and, and turns him around- Get him on some of those, like, right-wing shows and talk about- Great ... yeah, great.

I mean, even from what I r- understand, even Joe Rogan thinks that- The, you know, what ICE has done is unconscionable.

Yeah.

So look, maybe if he can use his power as a douchebag to-

You have to have all the subscriptions and you have to have the new vehicle.

Even listening a while back when I was talking about the what's his name? That hammer guy, the finance guy that I listen to him on Joe Rogan's podcast, you know, and he was talking about.

You know, the folks that have to have the new SUV because they want to keep up with the Joneses and then all the kids have to be in all of the activities.

Well, then they can't afford to buy a house because they can't save any money or they can't.
