This year's summer blockbusters are finally hitting streaming platforms which means the lads are about to make some fresh popcorn. Find out which movie to worth your time and money. Also, Miles cracks…
All righty.
Supergirl is first on the menu today, ladies and gentlemen.
I'm sorry in advance.
Once again, our third chair who's absent on this episode, Frank, mentioned that he enjoyed Supergirl quite a bit, which I was somewhat surprised concerning the reception both in critic reviews as well as the box office sales suggested the movie wasn't good.
But you know what? Frank, he's a friend.
I care about his opinion.
I don't know if I agree with his opinions, but I care about his opinion.
So I was like, all right.
So for those who are not familiar or don't know what the core setup of this movie is, because I knew nothing about the movie.
I just knew the trailers they were teasing showed us.
And let me tell you, the trailers did a lot of heavy lifting for this movie.
So the real structure of this movie is Supergirl, cousin of Superman, is on a bender to get away from responsibilities because she's in her rebel teenage years despite she's like 22, 23.
Yeah.
So she's having a late teenage rebellion phase occurring now and wants to get off planet Earth and doesn't want to be a hero of any sorts, just wants to get drunk and have a good time and starts hanging out on red sun planets because for those who know your Superman lore, Kryptonians get weakened by the red sun versus the yellow sun that we have here on Earth.
And that's why the booze has an effect on her.
And she just wants to have a good time, no responsibilities, and tour every red sun planet along with the crypto, everyone's favorite CGI dog.
Yeah.
And on the adventures of her just getting wasted and a lot of fart and pooping, pissing jokes left and right, Uh, there's a subplot story involving a little girl whose family gets murdered by an evil bad guy that looks like out of Mad Max because he's evil.
And that's why he's evil.
Because he killed a family.
And he cannot die.
Yeah, we'll get there soon enough.
All righty.
