With just 19 games left to play, the White Sox magic number to win the AL Central is 16. Jordan Lazowski, Nik Gaur, and Michael Suareo are here to talk about everything that happened over the last…
Michael SuareoGuestTheir magic number in the AL Central is now 16 following the Guardians' loss.
Um, I don't know why I feel like starting it on a downer, but I feel like let's just get some of the crap out of the way first and go from there.
Um, losing three of four to Houston, you lost five of seven ball games against them this season.
Not that it's, you know, a great matchup or anything either, but in 2021, for example, when they last met in the playoffs, I actually did think that was a bad matchup for the White Sox.
I mean, obviously there's, there's Yordan Alvarez in the middle of it, and you always have to be worried about him.
But other than him, it, it kind of reminds me of the Yankees, honestly, where it's like you can let Judge, you know, get his, but not really beat you, then you have a good chance to win the game.
But if they do meet again in the playoff, I'm not necessarily more afraid of them than I would be of a non, any non AL East team, essentially.

Um, I'll, I'll say if, if there is anything, I'm a little concerned, and I, I will-- I think there's already people that are concerned about this before the Astros series, but it did make me a little more concerned about our starting pitching.
