Um, for those that have been paying attention for a while, um, we're almost to five hundred episodes.

And I was always terrified to ask questions because these technical people would get in there and basically make you feel like junk for asking the basic questions, how to light something, what lens should I use? And I just had always been a person that wanted to learn something, and when I finally could, it would take forever to learn it.

There were a couple other, uh, podcasts and things, but really, uh, by the time two thousand eighteen got here, there wasn't a lot, uh, out in the world for podcasting education, and this was before, like, the, the course boom.

Like my podcasting world and schedule, it f-- I feel like I'm a new podcaster, and I just remember being like, "Ew, I don't wanna tell people I'm podcasting," but I just...

I, I got going in this whole two thousand sixteen to two thousand seventeen range just helping people and answering questions for them.

And, uh, I started getting deeper questions and started getting some of the same questions again and again and again, and I thought, "Man, I, I should, like, record these answers so I don't have to keep doing them." Or, so I would like write a blog and be like, "Here's, here's my thought," whenever somebody would ask me about pricing or ask me about networking or whatever it was.

I loved trading baseball cards and figuring out how to earn money and invest and save and...

Anyway, I'm, I'm getting a little off topic, but I, I wanted to set the tone for two thousand eighteen to me feels like just not long ago at all.

And I'm creeping up now on five hundred consecutive episodes without missing a week.

I, I have always just been a I commit to something, and then I'm diligent, and I build systems, and then whenever the time comes for it to end, I'm, I'm done.

I actually feel like I'm just getting started and really learning my own frameworks of what I wanna do and the exposure triangle and shifting focus and how to help people shift what they're thinking on.
