so this question is about power and the release of it.
So it might be twofold.
But my question is, is the baptism with the Holy Spirit a prerequisite for receiving power? And the second one is, can a Christian who hasn't received the baptism with the Holy Spirit be able to release power for healing some miracles just by virtue of the Holy Spirit living within them?

It's interesting because in the Gospels, you don't see, or it's not described, that the disciples received the baptism of the Holy Spirit, not like they did in the book of Acts.

It says in Luke 9, he gave them power and authority and then sent them out to heal the sick.

So if you read Luke 9, Matthew 10, Luke 10, Matthew 11, read those two chapters, you'll see that they went out and they healed the sick And they came back and said, Lord, even the demons were subject to us in your name.

So they had received the power and they had received the authority and they exercised it.

And they had not yet it wasn't recorded that they received the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

Wait in Jerusalem for the promise of the Father, for you will be endued with power from on high when the Holy Spirit comes upon you.

And then we go into the book of Acts, and on the day of Pentecost, they were in the upper room together, and that's when the Holy Spirit fell on them.

and they were filled with the Holy Spirit, spoke in tongues, flames of fire upon their heads, and they were speaking in different languages.

That's the baptism of the Holy Spirit, but it's interesting that the disciples were already working miracles prior to that.

So the question, it's not really clear in the Bible exactly what the order of operations is.
