Are we gonna stick to this RSS feed which has served podcasting since two thousand and four? Are we gonna adopt something new? Are we gonna stick to these flaky audience figure measurements? Are we gonna adopt something new? Are we gonna stick to multiple subscription models, Patreon and Kickstarter? Or are we gonna have a common currency where I can subscribe to three or four podcasts in a simple click? Can I say, if we just jump across media verticals here, it's not dissimilar from the book industry.

You know, why can't I go to Amazon and in one press or one transaction own the hardback for my shelf to impress my friends, the Kindle, so I can read it on a beach, and the audiobook, so I can hear it on my commute? We've had Amazon Books since nineteen ninety-seven.

I still can't do that.
