He's just gonna say, "Now, if Todd Blanche had let me stick around and hadn't tried to interfere, and had given me all the resources I needed," or, you know, maybe he won't say that explicitly, but that would be the, the implication as it already has been.

So yeah, I mean, I don't think, you know, it was like earnestly held ethical concerns so much as it is he was not going to be able to get this done because there is no there there.

the current deep state to make sure that Joe DiGeni- Di- DiGenova maybe didn't have access to the evidence he needed.

You know, and I think that's going to continue, and ultimately I think maybe what happens, because, like, w- you know, I'm curious who is going to take over from here.

Um, will it be Kurt Olsen, who was on that team? Um, will it be someone from Main Justice coming down from DC to take over? Um, you know, what, what exactly is going to happen? But it, at a minimum, this seems like it's going to cause some delay, and maybe the question is like, do they just run out the clock here? Like, it seems like, it seems like if anything, this might be kind of convenient for Todd Blanche 'cause he can kind of, uh, you know, say, "Oh, well [laughs] DiGenova, he really, uh, slowed us down because he, 'cause he resigned," kind of thing, you know? Um, I'm not sure.

But so Todd Blanche, who's the attorney general-

Todd Blanche, he, he said the fund doesn't actually exist anymore.

He says the fund is dead.

But that's what this court case is about.

All of those lawsuits are attacking the fund also from different angles with different arguments for why the fund should be stopped.

Then a couple of Republican senators, John Cornyn and Thom Tillis, said they weren't gonna vote to confirm Todd Blanche as attorney general.

They weren't even gonna let it out of committee unless he rescinds the slush fund in writing, along with that tax immunity.

And Blanche is asked over and over if the fund is dead, and he's like, "Yes, it's dead." And then in his confirmation hearing, "Is it dead?" "Yes, it's dead.

It's dead.

Stop asking me.

It's dead." And in all of our lawsuits, Todd Blanche says he doesn't need to put it in writing because he testified under oath that the fund was dead.

But since Tillis and Cornyn wouldn't confirm him, he put this in writing.

Today, Todd Blanche's deputy has filed an appeal to resurrect the one point seven seven six billion dollar slush fund and Trump tax immunity agreement.

So the rumor mill is that A.G. Blanche and Trump wanted indictments, and they wanted them now, and they wanted indictments to come before the midterms.

And DeGeneva's like, no. It's just not going to happen.

Number one is you're not giving me the resources to do this.

And you know how Trump is.

And Trump is just like, no, I want this to happen.

and so de geneva being 80 years old 81 years old is like listen there's a case here somebody else can handle this i'm just gonna go retire i'm not gonna deal with the politics of prosecution and i think that that's a good idea to have in your mind is that geneva is has resigned because of the politics of prosecution is that Trump and Blanche want the indictments before the midterms because they know that that's going to boost the Republican numbers.

I think that we all want the indictments before the midterms.

And my thought, as well as some other people, you know, I listened to on different podcasts, I believe that we can walk and chew gum at the same time.

I think we can push an agenda, which he'll veto everything that we push, you know, but the Democrats can push an agenda and, and two years from now, get a Democrat elected president and, and still go after the, the folks that have done this country harm, even if it's not the president directly himself, but some of the other folks like Pam Bundy, like Todd Blanche, like Kristi Noem, even though Kristi Noem is gone, still may be some repercussions for her.

But you get what I'm saying.

They're going to go after the people in the administration that have done the most harm.
