Lesson #4 for Saturday, July 25, 2026 **1 and 2 Corinthians** Adult Sabbath School Lesson 3rd Quarter, 2026

As has been mentioned, we are in the fourth of a series on the Corinthian letters, and today we are moving into chapters five through seven.
The lesson opens, if you notice, on the handout.

Whatever is brought to them through the senses stays inside of them.
Our entire past experience is all there, and to some degree impacts everything we feel, think, and do.
That's why Christians have to reckon with the idea that they are impacted by all the evil that surrounds us.
The church at Corinth certainly struggled with this.
Now, if you are like me, many of you have struggled with the consequences of conservative Christian religion, which tries to avoid everything that can possibly give a wrong impression etc and the reality is that saves us from an awful lot of issues an awful lot of problems on the other hand we all have suffered so much with the negative consequences of that kind of religion so finding our way in life is never easy even with the word of god so what happens in corinth is the kind of thing that happens in a lot of places that people trying to make sense of the world, trying to live the godly life in the middle of the world, a struggle to know just how to do it.
And Corinth was one of those places.
So if you go to number two in the handout, it says, in this week's lesson, we focus on 1 Corinthians chapters five and six.
