Um, yeah, so we were painting the scene, um, essentially of what this, uh, part of the chapter's about.

Um, and it's titled Why I Endorsed Clinton For My Safety Until I Didn't.

So yeah.

Yeah.

So, and, um, I don't know, do you, do you want to jump in, you want me to jump in, or how do we wanna play it?

Yeah, there's a lot to this chapter.

I found a lot of this really interesting, and I'm ha- happy to start off.

Uh, and, hey, I mean, there's so much we could walk literally, like, line by line from the book and, and cover it.

But w- uh, I, we'll try to probably cover it quicker than that, but, um, yeah, his whole thing about starting off this section about why he endorsed Clinton with talking about, like, why he doesn't vote, why he doesn't, he doesn't believe it's wise or smart to join a political side, and talking about the democracy illusion.

So those three things, uh, very, like, crazy start to the, this-

... part of the book.

Uh, like, uh, yeah.

What, what, uh, so what, what, yeah, what are your thoughts? Why, and I'll, I'll try to add-

I felt the same way.

I, I felt the same way too because it was a good w- a, a good primer for anybody even if they were just listening to this piece alone.

Um, because he gives basically, uh, you know, talk about painting the picture.

He's kinda like trying to help the, the reader understand where he's coming from.

And, you know, so you think that, you know, oh, this book is about, you know, Trump and persuasion, so certainly he must just be all team Trump.

Well, no. [laughs] You know, he's, uh, he's really not a, um, a political person.

He, he points out the fact that he really didn't align with either one of the, the, the parties.

Um, and he felt that it was actually prudent not to do so, um, a- a- basically because it would, um, be a way of kinda like separating, um, his, um, confirmation bias, um, if he, if he were to not do that.

And so-
