Before we go, um, it is a year, uh, since Charlie Kirk was killed.

He was talking at that campus, wasn't it? It was a campus event in Utah.

Donald Trump mentioning him in that very long speech.

There were plenty of things mentioned, among them the Charlie Kirk killing.

Let's listen to what he said.

[audience cheering] So exactly one year ago tomorrow, a far-left extremist assassinated my great friend and conservative voice, Charlie Kirk, because Charlie Kirk spoke the truth.

What shocked millions of American was not only the fact that Charlie was murdered as bad as it was, but also how many people made an excuse for it or cheered for it.

Quite a week.

We had the anniversary of Charlie Kirk's murder yesterday.

I was in Utah for the memorial, which is up on, uh, on the TPUSA page.

TPUSA did an, an amazing job.

I like that practicality.

That, that practicality there is one way in which I think, uh, JD is doing a good job of trying to fill the role that Charlie Kirk held.

And that JD and, and Charlie Kirk were very good friends, famously very close friends, and, uh, Charlie's chief political contribution, as we've all said many times over the last year, is that he maintained a coalition among people who didn't quite like each other, who disagreed on all sorts of things.

Ju- just to clarify, the, the other side are not against the death penalty, but they have the double standards.

We live at a time where a peaceful family man, Charlie Kirk, his opinions are so dangerous that he needs to be punished, and his punishment is death.

Whereas Lindsay Clancy, she should be protected.

She's not dangerous.

And then in July 2023, a female analyst from Israel's Unit 8200 warned, this is the third one, Hamas was training in ways that matched the Jericho Wall plan.

And her concerns warned that if you dismiss this because they, th- they, they dismissed this because they thought Hamas didn't have the capability.

So- Int- Israeli intelligence has the blueprint, and then you see Hamas rehearsing it, and you guys do nothing about it? And let's not forget, Charlie Kirk, God rest his soul, sat across from you on this podcast and said Bibi and the Israeli go- It's, it's almost unfathomable, it's unbelievable that they let it happen and they didn't know about it.

And he said, he goes, "G- guys, the size of, uh, Israel," he was just there, uh, "is the size of New Jersey.

Now, there's so many things happening at once: the chemicals, Iran war, the Epstein files.

You could almost think that they're throwing those things at us, like the Epstein files, or keeping the who killed Charlie Kirk debates going because then we won't look at our stuff.

We won't go to a real frequency.

We're all seeking truth, but we can get caught going, "I'm here trying to seek the truth of what 9/11 is.

That's it.

That's it.

In fact, you could almost think that they're throwing those things at us, like the Epstein files or keeping the get caught and who killed Charlie Kirk debates going because then we won't look at our stuff.

E- exactly, man.

We eventually got back to partisan politics before too long, but there was this great unity that I just don't think, you know, we would see this day and age.

Just yesterday we talked about how way too many people were celebrating the murder of Charlie Kirk last year.

I'm sure regardless of who was in the White House, uh, you know, there'd be some major polarizing debate immediately, uh, even before we even saw the towers come down.

If that were to happen today, uh, there would be finger-pointing all over the place.

And, you know, The New York Times is a...

You know, we, you and I could do many episodes on the flaws of The New York Times.

The New York Times, for all of its flaws, I don't think would ever do a Cand- would never have Candace Owens as a columnist writing for a year that Charlie Kirk was assassinated by the Israelis and a French, and Brigitte Macron, who's secretly a man, blah, blah, blah.

You know, like, The, The New York Times has flaws.

Absolutely, absolutely

... with our retrospective of Charlie Kirk's assassination.

Because today for us recording, September 10th, is the Kirkiversary.

It's, it's been one year since Charlie Kirk was killed, and boy, has so much and also not much at all happened.

Yeah, and the theme of this episode, the theme of this retrospective, is going to be analyzing how nobody really cares in a real way-

I still at the time would not come out and say, and I, I don't believe I've ever said, "She killed Charlie Kirk," or, "She planned to kill Charlie Kirk," or, "She was in on it." But I have allowed my mind to speculate, and I-

Yeah, what does it speculate?

Well, I mean, it speculates that, that she doesn't have a very good alibi for where she was, uh, on September 8th and 9th.

When did this, this particular security team, though, 'cause again, this was a new, this was a new tour he was going on.

This was the first one.

They put this team together shortly before that, right? It was, it w- those guys hadn't all worked together for Charlie Kirk prior to this point, or am I misremembering that?

I think the base of the team had worked for Charlie Kirk-

Steve, it's incredible, the confluence of events.

We have a one-year memorial of Charlie Kirk's assassination, coupled with the RNC, first midterm RNC, Trump's in Dallas, and then we have today 9-11.

You point out that 19 terrorists flew planes into the World Trade Center and into the Pentagon, and probably in the White House had they not taken them down.

Yeah, they've never been a friend of ours.

They said, no, impossible.

The great thing is, even if you told them, they'd still go in the tower.

Charlie Kirk is next.
