Auburn STUNNER! Star LB Dismissed Before LSU Game | Tigers' CFP Path

Okay, good morning, y'all.

Hope everybody's day is off to an awesome, awesome start.

A little bit of significant news here as LSU Auburn week begins.

Auburn All-American linebacker and former LSU linebacker, Xavier Adkins, was dismissed from the Auburn team on Monday night.

He was suspended for the win over Georgia, and Alex Golish had kind of been noncommittal No reason given for the dismissal, but they announced the suspension last Monday and now a week later dismissed from the team.

I mean, he was first team all SEC a year ago, led the league in TFLs.

Preseason All-SEC this year, Preseason All-American.

He had started the first four games of the year.

So, I mean, a really significant player.

I mean, I would argue that Xavier Atkins outside of Byron Brown is their best player, not their best linebacker, their best defensive player.

I would argue he's their best player outside of Byron Brown.

So that is really significant for this week with LSU heading to the Plains.

So... remember he played his freshman season at LSU and then spent the last two seasons at Auburn.

So, and that's one of those I remember, man, LSU hated to lose him.

Like they loved that guy.

It was just, remember he'd had a neck injury and there was just some depth and Auburn sort of coerced him into the portal and paid him.

And so he's been there the past two years and he's had really a fantastic, uh, college career on field, but he's been dismissed from the team.

So, um, Anyway.
