And I just think about these women, you know, just affectively how difficult it would have been to become a wife and have children after what they experienced.
And then they have to, and for the sake of the nation get married because marriage is kind of baked into these projects, orphans, marrying other orphans.
Um, and betrothals that are also happening abroad, um, to these girls sometimes end up, you know, in Canada and the United States and in France and these places married to men.
And from the male perspective and somebody in the community once said, well, look at our men, they took these women.
But I'm thinking these women were sexually assaulted repeatedly over and over, maybe even as children.
I mean, have we fully taken in what that meant to them and what their bodies had been through?
