OTTSN - Cincy Sports Update 10/6

On the ground, the Bengals could not figure out anything.

As I'm sure you all could tell, 15 rushes for a measly 23 yards, a lot of inside zone and duo, not a lot of creativity.

And then defensively, Boy Maeve had a sack, and of his five tackles, three for a loss.

Bengals did have four sacks on the day, three coming from Chris Jenkins, Miles Murphy, and the one and only Sexy Dexy.

And the leader of tackles, Barrett Carter, 11 total tackles, five of those solo.

Joey, going off those stats, sad Sunday game.

Give me your first thoughts on it.

Yeah, my

first thoughts are like, I'm

not...

Not depressed, not totally discouraged, still not really hitting the panic button.

The Jags are a good team, but I'm mostly just annoyed.

The last couple weeks have been really annoying.

It just feels like we've finally got a defense that has given four winnable performances to start the year.

I know the score was high in the Pittsburgh game.

A lot of that was special teams also.

Definitely.

But Like we kind of were just told that over all these years, the last couple of years, you know, this is a Super Bowl winning offense.

We got best offensive minded coach in the division.

And right now we're getting great defense and we're sitting here two and two.

So something's not lining up there.

It's never good when you.

Throw the ball 54 times and you end up with a QBR of under 50.

I mean, something probably wasn't going right for you.

You're playing from behind a lot.
