And all I can think about is the hockey season starting in like less than three months.

like 77 days at this point and it feels like it's been just an endless news cycle of things happening it seems like almost every day something new is happening on the market um obviously the leo carlson saga was dragged out but uh it looks like he signed for for anaheim for 18 million aav A ridiculous number.

I just, you know what, I had other things on my mind, but I am curious what you guys think of these new young players getting signed at huge, huge numbers.

I mean, obviously Kirill Kaprizov signs a $17 million deal with But that had a domino effect, and now that's the new number.

And it would have been a shock to see someone like Bedard sign for $15 million as of maybe three weeks ago.

But now it just doesn't even – that seems like a pretty good deal for the guy, all things considered.

But, you know, it's kind of always been a policy in the NHL that, you know, your superstar franchise player eats up

So even with these massive numbers we're seeing, you know, that we haven't hit that number yet.

Um, but, uh, you know, I'm just curious what's going to happen with Macklin next, you know, because like this dude deserves more than either of those of those players.

But he's also come out publicly already to say like, yeah, no, like I can see myself taking less so that the GM can build a team around him.
