Pius Suter

Meanwhile, Jack Finley was a guy who was getting starts at this level.

So if they think they could potentially lose Finley, maybe they just say, "Hey, we, we'd actually like to have that around," because there are going to be some match-ups where you go up against big fourth lines, more physical fourth lines, that he makes more sense as the fourth line center, where he will actually see playing time, where we can get a Johnston-Torpo-Finley fourth line instead of having one of Dean or Sutter-

Yeah

... center that fourth line.

And then you look at the fourth line.

The fourth line's where I thought Jack Finley might start out at center on that fourth line, but right now it's Puce Suter, which makes sense.

There's nothing wrong with that.

I think Finley probably still work his way in.

I mean, the bottom six is fine.

You know, Pius Suter, Jake Neighbors, Dalibor, Dvorsky, um, Ross Johnson, Jack Finley, Alexei Toropchenko.

Yeah, Toropchenko,

I think.

Again, didn't really do all that much defensively, but he was a 50-point guy when he was here, and you just, you know, let that walk out the door.

You let a, a guy named Pius Suter walk out the door, who this year in Vancouver he scored 25 goals.

You didn't wanna pay him $2 million to score 25 goals? Guys, come on.

Uh, uh, the guys who they have extended long-term, Dylan Larkin, Lucas Raymond, Moritz Seider, all of them obvious core pieces.

Again, we'll talk about Jake Nabors on that third line.

We'll talk about Pius Suter.

Also, all of these guys are ostensibly... capable of scoring 20-plus goals and have done in their career outside of Dalibor Dvorsky.

But 12, I don't think, is a bad goal total for someone who has stepped into a pretty significant role on this Blues team before he was really ready.

So Connor McMichael could get a shot.

I think Puce Suter and Dvorsky between the two of them, one of them could hold down a second line center role if they have to.

I really hope they don't have to go back to Pavel Vucinavich.

I hope that's not something that they try to do again because they have the depth now.
