Lend your eyes and ears to the longest ModChat episode in a while! Due to missing last month's episode, I decided to have two months worth of content into a single episode and... Well, here we are…
The first thing I just want to cover here, because I thought this is quite cool.
This is from developer Damien Perino, who, if that name sounds familiar, he is known for the Apollo save tool.
But this here he ended up releasing, which is Apollo save patcher.
It states here applies Apollo save patches to your save files.
Everything runs in this tab.
Nothing is uploaded.
Just need to open a save and put it back.
Save decryptors and fixers does that in two clicks.
And if you see this here, what is this? It states a browser front end for the Apollo save patch engine, the same C library, the console apps and the desktop GUI use compiled to WebAssembly.
search the patch database for your game or drop in a save patch file of your own either way it shows you the codes it contains and applies the ones you pick to your save data so while there's going to be times it might be easier or better where you will need to use a console app or even a gy if you ever just want to now utilize this tool within your browser itself you're able to do that That's it.
You can do this on your phone.
You can do this on your tablet.
You can do this on your desktop now without having to download any applications.
So this is pretty cool that he put this out.
Bro, also, I'm just saying before I jump to the next thing, because I use tabs for all this here.
I have so many tabs open for all the topics.
I can't...
It's all icons.
It's all icons.
That's it.
This does not happen on these episodes.
All right, let's continue on.
Now, this is from developer Jordi IDK, and this here is Slopkit, which it states is a jailbreak for the PS5.
It is WebKit enabled, which is awesome because we haven't seen WebKit in a long time up until now, and it works for firmware's 9.0 all the way up to 12.00. For anybody who's on a lower firmware, like let's say you're on a firmware like four or five or three or something like that, and you're asking, should I update to this? No, no, just stay on your older firmwares on your PS5.
