Infamous

The only thing I really lost on there that was significant and just is more of a pain than anything else.

It's not a huge deal, but I had the ISO for Infamous Second Son on there that I was hoping, you know, like if I could still access it, I would use it for trying out the PC port.

But unfortunately, it's gone.

So I'm going to have to...

so i decided okay i'm going to take advantage and start installing some recomps on my computer just go through and start putting some of those in and so i installed several different recomps i only actually played one of them but i at least got booted up um three of the others Or two of the other three.

So the ones I installed were Ratchet and Clank, Sin and Punishment, Sly Cooper, and Infamous.

Now, and this is just the first Infamous.

It's time to play Prototype.

Prototype the Infamous.

The War of 2009.

Prototype always seemed cooler than Infamous.

I actually never played Prototype.

I did play Infamous and didn't really like it.

I think it's better than Infamous, but it's also really bad.

There's a lot of in-your-face references to Sly in Yotei, where there was only some subtle ones in Tsushima.

Yeah, and I know they also reference Infamous.

I get that they're doing that, but...

I feel like it's time for Sly.

Or Infamous 2, for example, if you beat the game one way and then do New Game Plus, you could get the powers from both sides.

There's the Sly games, and then there's the Infamous games.

i guess it's a survival horror game i guess that's what you would call it but it's very narrative driven and uh it plays totally different from control and control plays totally different from resonant um resonant reminds me a lot of infamous and i think i might have mentioned that already but i did find a way to get infamous running on my computer So I went back and played some of that, and I forgot how good that game is.

So shout-outs to Control Resident, but shout-outs to Infamous as well.

Go back and play the original Infamous.

Well, I have two other games that I think technically are superhero games.

Infamous and Prototype.

They're two games that came out in the 2010s, and in both of them, you are a super-powered guy who's run around an open world, and you're fighting bad guys and saving people and...

I think in at least one of them you can choose whether or not you want to be good or evil.

And the reason I say that it's superheroes, because I know that for Infamous, they did comic books and everything that was linking, you know, between one and two.

And then Prototype started off, I believe, as a Venom pitch, like a pitch for a Venom game, which then evolved into its own thing when Sony or Marvel said no.

I would say that they're not really superhero.

If you are fighting the bad guys because you want revenge, you are not a hero.
