When the Prophet ﷺ sons, Qasim and Abdullah, when they passed away, then he said, Just leave him.
Now his legacy has been cut off because generally a person's legacy continues through his sons.
And this is a common theme that you see in the seerah that anytime anyone would attack the messenger ﷺ, Allah would become personal in the matter.
And Allah would send down verses of the Quran responding to the attack of that individual.
So this man, Aas bin Wael, he said, Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam is abtar.
Allah said, Indeed, your shani'aka means somebody who has a lot of animosity, hatred towards you, your enemy.
Where has it not spread? We're sitting so many thousands of miles away from Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah.
Hundreds of years later, but yet, alhamdulillah, we're saying,
