Hasan ibn Ali

So then after this incident, one day...

Sahaba are sitting in the masjid and Hassan radiallahu anhu is the son of Ali radiallahu anhu.

He happens to pass by.

So Hassan radiallahu anhu says salam to all the people who are sitting in the masjid as he's passing by.

So everyone returns the salam.

Except for this one individual, Abdullah bin Amr ibn al-As.

He remains quiet.

And then afterwards, once Hassan had passed away, quietly he says, And then he tells the people around him, he says, إِنَّهُ أَحَبُّ أَهْلِ الْأَرْضِ إِلَىٰ أَهْلِ السَّمَاءِ This man who just passed by, Hassan bin Ali radiallahu anhu, he is the best of all of the people of this earth in the heavens.

We've reached, uh, hadith number eleven, hadith Ashar, from the Forty Hadith of An-Nawawi Rahimahullah.

And this is the hadith which is narrated by Ali ibn Abi Talib or Hasan ibn Ali ibn Abi Talib, rather.

And it's narration of an Abi Muhmmadin al-Hasan ibn Ali ibn Abi Talib sibtu rasulullahi sallallahu alaihi wasallam wa rihanati.

Rajala anhuma qal: hafiztu min rasulullahi sallallahu alaihi wasallam da' ma yuribuk ila ma la yuribuk.

Warahuh Tirmidhi wan-Nasa'i.

So as we mentioned, this is the eleventh narration.

The eleventh narration of the collection, and this is the narration narrated by Abi Muhammad.

Abi Muhammad al-Hasan ibn Ali ibn Abi Talib.
