I mean, one of the first things that comes to mind, and I said this the other day, somebody was like, every job's a bridge job.

And, you know, I had, the person I was talking to about this was like, very quizzical look on his face.

And I said, no, the reason I'm saying this is that every opportunity you're afforded leads to something else.

But does it bridge you to something else? And if you think about it, it does.

know, you may be in a role that you intended to go into and then something changes and something happens and then all of a sudden you're exposed to something else and now you got to pivot to that.

Whether it's in a company or you get laid off or, you know, whatever it is.

But it is funny when a lot of people hear me say this, they kind of think about, well, what are you advocating?

I'm just saying, if you think about it in your own mind about, I'm going to do this, but this will likely lead to something else.

Or you may just be in the moment and realize that, oh, you know, things happen as they do, especially right now in companies.

Is this going to be another opportunity to learn something different or to think about your role in a different way? But that's how I think about it.
Very interesting concept because the corporation doesn't want to hear that, right? Nope.
And by the way, a bridge may not be to another company, but perhaps another position within the company.
