Let's start with Iran and an update from the Middle East official and military sources saying that movements are being made in the Middle East to give President Donald Trump options if he decides to resume strikes in Iran after next week's elections.

The development comes after the Wall Street Journal reported that the U.S. has told several Gulf Arab countries to be prepared for a short term intense military campaign after the US midterm elections, citing people familiar with the conversations.

When asked by a reporter about the possibility of the US striking Iran after next week, President Trump said, I can't tell you that, but anything's possible.

The Wall Street Journal report said an additional aircraft carrier strike group and Marine Expeditionary Unit are being repositioned while the U.S. is bringing a Patriot missile defense system from Texas into Israel to help the Middle Eastern ally bolster its defenses and U.S. forces in the region are restocking their munitions.

The Yemeni government's armed forces carried out 749 targeted operations against Houthi military capabilities over 24 hours as part of its Dawn of Yemen offensive.

This, according to spokesman Colonel Mahid al-Nazili, The military also targeted 239 Houthi commanders and fighters, he said on X, posting the strikes targeted field command centers, fortifications, fire positions, reinforcements, and means of movement and supply, which contributed to suppressing sources of fire, disrupting the malicious field command, and depriving its forward positions of support and resupply.

Yemeni government forces made the announcement after the group warned people to evacuate the area.

According to Reuters, residents in the southern port city where the Saudi-backed Yemeni government is based said they heard an explosion near the airport.

The Yemeni forces said the attack on the airport caused civilian injuries and property damage.

If you ever get frustrated with... with, with traffic being backed up or, or whatever, you know, you just get, think about living in an area like the middle East, some of these, uh, neighboring countries around Iran, around Israel, and think about the chaos that those poor people live in, never knowing what's going to happen, never knowing if their neighborhood may be the next to get hit with a missile.

This according to Iran international, the embassy of Iran and Kuwait then issued a statement yesterday saying it quote, categorically rejects the claim put forward by the Kuwaiti government regarding the involvement of one of the Iranian citizens and apply to assassinate figures or in any other act that would undermine Kuwaiti national security.
