That's in addition to the six moments marking each hijacked plane's impact in New York, at the Pentagon, into Pennsylvania field, and when the towers fell.

Attacks that killed nearly 3,000 people on 9/11.

25 years after the September 11th terror attacks, President Trump says the nation will never forget.

We fight hard.

We fight to win.

Speaking at a memorial service at the Pentagon, the president saluted the victims killed, and service members he says are working right now to ensure the world's number one sponsor of terror, Iran, will never have a nuclear weapon.

Vice President JD Vance attended the service at the World Trade Center site in Lower Manhattan.

I'm a schoolteacher in PG County, and I was teaching fourth grade.

And I was on second floor in a school building that we could look out across and see the Pentagon.

And, um, we got a, a notice from the office to, um, take a moment of silence by it.

And so I told the children, I said, "You know, there's some scary things that are happening out there, but you're okay.

So I was in our political science building at GW.

And for people that don't know, uh, it's right in the middle of the city.

It's actually right next to the State Department and just across the bridge from the Pentagon.

On September 10th, 2001, I started interning at the Department of Justice, so in their public affairs.

25 years after the attacks, we know the world will never return to the way it was at that dawn on that beautiful, peaceful Tuesday morning, 2001.

Before the towers fell, before the Pentagon was hit, before the specter of evil and this horrible, horrible evil came crashing into our lives, before we saw what took place in Pennsylvania.

Innocence is expecting the future to be good because you have not yet really been tested.

We've been tested many times.

Yeah, man.

Uh, where the people stepped up to the plate.

I mean, the game plan was obviously, you know, to hit the Pentagon, the Capitol.

Um, you know, that was what they were really going for, as well as the World Trade Center.

It, it was, you know, the first plane hits the World Trade Center, then the second plane hits the World Trade Center, then another one hits the Pentagon, and then there was the other jet that they, uh, they stormed the, uh, cockpit and, uh, and the plane crashed in Shanksville, Pennsylvania.

You did wonder, "When is this going to end? Is the..." And then of course, the anthrax thing came out after that.

Yeah.

It's unbelievable.

A ceremony to commemorate twenty-five years since the September eleventh terror attacks is underway in New York City.

Crowds have gathered to honor the nearly three thousand victims who were killed when Al-Qaeda terrorists hijacked four commercial planes and flew them into the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and a field in Pennsylvania.

The Iran-backed Houthi militia have seized the last two islands in the Bab al-Mandab Strait, completing their takeover of the vital shipping route.

A second plane has now flown into the World-

A third location, outside of New York and outside of Washington, DC.

I don't have words to describe what I'm witnessing right now.

You usually can gauge things, you know, within a few minutes, you know, so they, they may start getting worse.

But at one time you say, "Well, this is what they are." But this was something that started getting worse and worse and worse and worse and worse and worse.

At 9:38, word came that terrorists had commandeered a third jetliner and crashed it into the Pentagon, killing everyone on board.

Underweight right now across the U.S., remembrance ceremonies for the victims of the 9-11 terror attacks.

Today marks 25 years since the attacks in New York City and on Washington, D.C. 184 people were killed at the Pentagon when American Airlines Flight 77 crashed into the building.

Today, President Trump spoke at the site of the attack.

President Trump said this anniversary of the September 11th attacks is a time to remember the lives lost and cherish their memories and also honor the heroes who saved lives that day through their bravery.

In his remarks at the Pentagon, the president said September 11th, 2001 reminded America of the quote, terrible power of hate.

25 years since have shown us the even greater power of the American spirit to endure and prevail and to win.

The American psyche has just been sobered as never before.

We have recently experienced a massive terrorist attack against the World Trade Center and against the Pentagon.

We've seen a lot of people go out and have prayer vigils, and even something that was more astounding, perhaps, we saw members of Congress, both the Senate and the House, singing from the Capitol steps, God Bless America.

Now we know that God has blessed America in the past.

And I think if you look at the unfolding events in the world, terrorism and all of the power that we have, nuclear and so on, that we do have to be thinking that that is a very likely possibility.

That's my father from 25 years ago, hard to believe.

We're coming up to the 25th anniversary of those attacks on the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, as you heard there, the other plane that went down in that Pennsylvania field.

And more and more people, they don't have a working memory of that attack.

Um, and our question of the day is since nine 11, since the occurrences that took place 25 years ago, those attacks.

Have you visited New York City or Washington, D.C.? What did you see? What did you visit? And did you have a chance to go to any of the memorials of the attack in New York with the Trade Center? One that really resonates with me is my brother-in-law today is his birthday.

In fact, and he was, he had gone to the U S open.

They live in, in, in, in DC area and, uh, was still active duty working in the Pentagon at that time.

And because, because his flight back, uh, uh, not flight, but his train ride back to D.C. from the U.S. Open that weekend got delayed.
