World oil stocks are being depleted, so there's more and more pressure on supply.

The Houthis are now controlling the Red Sea.

They have disabled part of the Saudi pipeline across Saudi Arabia to avoid the Strait of Hormuz, and there's no strategy for dealing with the Strait of Hormuz.

Uh-

And the Strait of Hormuz is closed, so oil's not getting through.

And an Iranian proxy group in Iraq last week, uh, worked together with the, uh, Houthi rebels called the Ansar Allah in, uh, Yemen and destroyed the, uh, the cross, uh, country Saudi oil pipeline.

So now no oil's getting out.

We're losing this war pretty handily.

Is that, is, s- uh, a- but at the same time, we haven't seen Hezbollah respond.

Houthis responded with barely anything.

What's your general take on the response so far?

I think that what we're seeing is Israel's, um, military strategy really working right now.

Um, with that movement into Gaza, that kind of started Israel on this larger strategy of let's neutralize Hamas, and then let's neutralize Hezbollah.

And by neutralizing those two targets or by, by, you know, eviscerating-

And the Houthis as well, which didn't take long with the Houthis.

Correct.

More than 1,400 people were killed, most of them Alawite civilians at the hands of government and government-affiliated forces, according to multiple reports.

In other news, the Yemeni army said late Wednesday that it bombed Houthi positions in the embattled Taiz province, while Reuters reported a growing number of Yemenis are sailing to Africa to avoid the war.

Late Wednesday, the U.S. again denied Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas a visa to attend the upcoming U.N. General Assembly.

And India and Pakistan both summoned the other's ambassadors on Wednesday after a coalition between their naval vessels in the Arabian Sea the day prior.

Why would someone want to do this? Well, if you're trying to continually disrupt the oil market, which the Iranians are now successfully doing through the Houthis in Yemen as they're attacking the Saudi coast and the other alternative exit point for oil to the rest of the world from Saudi Arabia, one has to wonder, when is it time for you to just stop being content with thinking that you're not a target? Modern commercial vessels, by the way, are floating IT environments with satellite control systems, satellite communications, and electronic navigation, all connected to networks that were never designed with adversarial threat models in mind.

In this case...

China has privately asked Tehran to help rein in Yemen's Houthis, according to three Iranian sources familiar with the matter.

This appeal follows a request from Saudi Arabia, which is concerned about Houthi advances along the Red Sea coast and around the Bab el-Mandeb Strait.

These moves threaten Saudi oil exports and global energy routes.

Beijing wants Iran to use its influence to prevent the conflict from spreading further across these vital energy routes.

The sources indicated Tehran's response was that regional stability depends on ending the US-Israeli war on Iran.

A senior Western diplomat noted that Beijing is one of the few capitals that can still press Iran to rein in the Houthis.

The Chinese Foreign Ministry stated that escalating regional instability is not in any party's interest and called for issues to be resolved through dialogue.

Fighting is intensifying in Yemen.

The Houthis say Saudi Arabian warplanes have carried out 40 strikes across three Yemeni provinces over the past 24 hours.

The Houthis claim they've shot down a Saudi F-15 jet.

Japanese Prime Minister Sanai Takeichi has shuffled her cabinet.

Chief Cabinet Secretary Minoru Kahara, Foreign Minister Toshimitsu Motegi, Defense Minister Shinjiro Koizumi, and Finance Minister Satsuka Karayama will remain in their posts.

But if we were to pull up the Hormuz letter and the, yeah, the Hormuz letter post, here we go.

And on top of the pipeline, the Houthis appear to have struck the Yassref refinery at the same port this morning.

So really the main gist of this, right, is additional supply curtailment in the Middle East of oil.

In this case, specifically Saudi oil going to the European Union.

Evidently, you can't forget about anybody over there, it doesn't appear.

And then I don't know if you guys saw that thing, if I sent it to you, the guy on YouTube that had the list of... all the arms that Saudi's got versus all the arms the Houthis got.

And the Saudis got F-15s and other stuff, and the Houthis got all these missiles they're getting from God knows where, and it sure looks like the missiles are doing better than the F-15s right about now.

I mean, what struck your guys' fancy this week? I mean, we had the Fed thing yesterday, and Trump's pissed at those guys, allegedly.

Yeah.

But anyway, he's back as a good guest.

And, you know, interesting stuff.

This war is starting to, I'm really getting concerned about this now because it seems like now we're not helping the, Saudis against the Houthis, they look like they're getting their ass kicked to me.
