But before we get into our starts of the week, we always have to start doom and gloom.
Let's head to the injury update.
So this one here, Seko from the top, Lamar Jackson, he's back at practice, not confirmed to be starting in week seven, but he was seen walking around with a limp.
Things you do not love to hear, especially with how that injury carousel went with Lamar last year, and we paid the price heavily on that.
Are we going to make the same mistake again this year by rolling him ready to go up against the Bengals, or how do you feel on this situation as we are? I mean, we'll probably have more information later It'll be Saturday our time if he is going to be good to go.
But how do you feel this one shaking out?
Yeah, probably no one copped it worse than us in the entire super coach or fantasy space on Lamar last year.
But he's been knowing how good he is when he's fit, right? That's the thing.
Walking with a limp doesn't really concern me on a Wednesday too much.
We'll find out beforehand, obviously, make moves accordingly for super coach.
But he can be jabbed up.
He can be taped up.
It's obviously not – at the point where he still can't operate on it.
So, as we've said, it's, you know, probably over two weeks now.
They desperately need Lemari enough, that bad loss to the Browns and losing the tiebreaker to them, even though I don't think the Browns are in a serious contender for this division.
The Bengals are, so they'll want to, Lamar will want to play and I think they'll want to put him out there.
So again, I'll be very shocked if he doesn't play, but if his ankle's bung, it's bung.
I don't know anything about it.
But we saw what happened.
Backup quarterbacks can be good for one game usually, very hard to be good for a third game that they start, especially against a divisional opponent who've seen him a few times already.
We hope he's back because it'll be absolutely fireworks in that divisional game up against the Bengals.
Baker Mayfield in another divisional game trying to make his way back with that hand or finger injury that he sustained three weeks ago.
Had a full practice while wearing a glove.
The head coach, Todd Bowles, said it's looking likely that he will play, but he's not going to make a call until Friday's practice on Saturday at our time.
So, again, there is still a chance that Jalen Daniels might get the start.
