Shlomo HaMelech had just told us that if you hang out with bad people, um, they teach you to do bad things.
They're gonna influence you in a way that's gonna make you bring out the worst, the worst of you.
On the other hand, if you hang out with righteous people, that's what he tells us here, Pasuk Yod Ches, [in foreign language] the way of the righteous, [in foreign language] is like the light which becomes bright, [in foreign language] becoming brighter and even more lit up.
[in foreign language] until the day is set, until the day is bright.
So what he's saying is that the way of the righteous people is that it starts off that their way, their path, we, we've mentioned many times that the word orach means like a narrow path, a small path, as opposed to a derech, which is a, a big road.
That's the next verse for the wicked.
'Cause the righteous people, they have to walk a very narrow path.
They don't have-- They can't just do what they want.
And it seems like their life maybe is dark.
But as they continue to walk through this life and as they continue to overcome the struggles and the challenges, it becomes brighter and brighter.
And we're gonna put this together with the next Pasuk Yod Tet.
[in foreign language] meanwhile, the ways of the wicked, [in foreign language] is like darkness.
[in foreign language] they don't even know [in foreign language] in what way they stumble.
Okay.
So I'm gonna explain both of these pesukim.
But I wanna start with the explanation of one word, and that it says, [in foreign language] the ways of the righteous, [in foreign language] Nogah.
He's trying to see a vision of heaven.
Now, usually prophets don't explain to us how they experience a vision, but Yechezkel chapter one, he describes, and that's why it's such a difficult chapter to understand 'cause he's ex-explaining to us in words we don't understand, but how the prophecy occurred to him.
And he starts by explaining that the first thing you have to do as a prophet is stop seeing the physical world.
And the way that you stop seeing the physical world is by overcoming your own physicality.
They look like they're completely collapsed 'cause they have no bodily strength, 'cause they're stepping out of their body.
That's the difference.
