Yeah, the Sixers didn't really look like they wanted to play at the start of the game.

They, they, they looked pretty disinterested, and the Celtics took advantage of it.

21 points, four rebounds, three assists, a steal, six of 10 from the field, three of seven from deep, looked super confident, looked active on the defensive end, was great driving to the hoop, drew eight free throws, shot six of eight from the line.

Like, when he went strong to the rim, he got the call, and, uh, it's not something you can usually say for younger guys in the NBA.

He shot the, you know, lights out all four or, yeah, four games he played in, really.

Um, m-made a strong bid for, for heavy minutes throughout the course of the season, and I think he'll only play even better when he's playing alongside Jayson Tatum, Paul George, and company.

Yeah, you could see a little bit more of the summer development, right? Like, he, Jordan Walsh, both of those guys showed you a little creativity in this game that we haven't gotten to see throughout the rest of the preseason.

I like that you could see Hugo playing a little bit more of a confident style of basketball today, right? It was cool.

And with that, you can see why the Celtics had so much confidence in him, why, when people around the league talk about Hugo Gon- Gonzalez, it is, "Oh, we think he has such a bright future." You can see how far he's come.

One of the moments of the game for me was Hugo Gonzalez dribbling to his left hand off of a screen, quick trigger, on a dime, pulls up, and st- uh, sticks a three.

Granted, they're not really playing with the regular rotation players, so seeing it in a regular game setting would be a little bit different.

But nonetheless, I thought it was a really impressive showing from him, who, you know, hopefully Hugo plays minutes this year.

It's been a little unclear what the rotation is going to look like as we've navigated the preseason, but there should be minutes for him if he's able to play on a consistent basis at this level.
