You know, when you kind of look at what they had out there on a given night, I mean, Connor Enright was, you know, I thought he did a great job for what he was asked to do, but on a good, solid NCAA tournament team, he's not playing 35 minutes a game.

Tucker DeVries never looked healthy to me.

Lamar Wilkerson was the one guy kind of pointing to your example.

It was almost like as Lamar Wilkerson went, the team went.

Duke doesn't recruit guys that can't play, so we'll see what he can actually bring to the table.

But it seems to me that Overall, just the talent level, and I forgot Jaden Mustaf, who right now is the best perimeter defender on the team, so he's not a guy to kind of brush aside either.

I just feel like overall, the collection of talent, where they may not have that high-end player like Lamar Wilkerson or even a guy like Tucker DeVries who can get hot and make seven or eight threes in a game, I think overall the floor of some of these guys is pretty reasonable, and the four of them together plus a Prince Alexander Moody who could get better as the season goes along, a Trevor Manhurtz who they seem to be really confident in.

It just seems like last season it was often look to the bench, oh, there's no answer over there.

Derek White, in addition to playing basketball today, has a new White Noise podcast out in which he talks at length about the Jalen Brown trade.

The Boston Celtics have cut Tucker DeVries, Hayden Gray, Gabe McLaughlin, and Milosh Uzan.

Presumably some of these guys will be heading to Maine.

They will not be on the Celtics roster this year, however.

I'm not saying that right, am I? Is it Milos Uzon? I like Milos.

What's wrong with that? Okay, Milos Uzon, Gabe McLaughlin, Hayden Gray, and Tucker DeVries were all waived.

Now, what's interesting about that, I think, is that those four guys started against the 76ers, and the Celtics won that game.

And you saw in that game, some of the Sixers' better players, starters in that game, but the Celtics go on to win.

That was a schadenfreude masterpiece in the fourth game there.

LeBron James flies in on a helicopter only to get stitched up by Tucker DeVries and a few other guys who have all since been waived, which is, you know i feel for those guys because they were great obviously they were great in camp and like a huge contributor to the the vibes and overall like process going into the regular season and then being punctuated by that performance but uh just an incredible series of events joe mizzola is even like fuck it i'm not even going to coach the game
