But I wanna start with this starting lineup.

Gabe McLauthon, Tucker DeVries, Chris Sinack Jr., Milos Uzan, and Hayden Gray.

Four of those guys are gonna get cut on Saturday, and either assigned to the G League Maine Celtics, or they'll be off on their merry way and, uh, allowed to do whatever.

Maybe sign overseas or sign with another team, who knows? But that's the plan and meanwhile, these guys get to start a, a basketball game against Jaylen Brown, LeBron James, Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey, and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope.

Mm-hmm

... and a couple from Dylan Mitchell and Milos Uzan that slammed the door on Philadelphia.

Yeah.

In overtime, we get overtime time to end the pre-season, Sherrod, and it's time.

So those three guys, with LeBron focusing on passing, did their thing efficiency-wise, but you have questions about the depth.

I thought the Celtics' depth, not only in this game, but the last one they played in, in Boston, showed better than Philadelphia's, and they're gonna add Anfernee Simons and, um, Adam Bona, and a couple other guys to this mix.

So they are far from full strength themselves here, but you mentioned it, Sherrod, they go up against Hayden Gray, Milos Uzan, Chris Sinack, Tucker DeVries-

Jalen played, LeBron played, Embiid played, Maxi played.

And the Celtics started Hayden Gray, Milos Uzan, Tucker DeVries, and Gabe McLaughlin, and Chris Senak, and the Celtics won.

Anyways, uh, Luka Garza, Baylor Shive, and company came off the bench, so the Celtics did have some rotation players playing.

But, um, Philly's guys played significant minutes, too.

Okay, so both of you do, really.

[clears throat] Yeah.

If you're sitting here asking me who would I rather have on a two-way, Amari Williams or Gabe McLaughlin, or even Milos Uzan, I, I'm not going with Amari Williams.

Uh, and maybe there's something there that we're not seeing that he's doing in practice.

He will slide in next to Amari Williams and rookie Dylan Mitchell.

Other guys like Milos Uzan, Tucker DeVries, Hayden Gray, they're all on Exhibit 10s, so they will likely be funneled down to the main Celtics.

And if they spend, I think it's 90 days with the team, they will trigger their Exhibit 10 bonus, which is approximately $90,000.

So everybody's a winner here.

Or he's already been ruled out completely and they're not going to sign him to the two-way.

I think either him or Milos Uzan would have been fine for that spot.

I'm cool with him getting it as well, just because it's kind of a buy low, higher ceiling sort of player.

And they play their starters last night.

You heard it was Milos Uzan along with Hayden Gray, Chris Sinek Jr.

Like these other guys that are going to end up in the main Celtics last night, like playing their ass off.

It was wildly entertaining as the Celtics beat the Sixers 125-120 in overtime.

And I'll admit, I didn't need five extra minutes of preseason basketball, but this game was so entertaining that I will allow it.

The Celtics, they roll out a starting five of Gabe McLaughlin, Tucker DeVries, Chris Sinack Jr., Milos Uzan, and Hayden Gray, and still find a way to battle the Jalen Brown, LeBron James, Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey, and KCP starting five of the Sixers to a win.

Just another reflection of the Celtics identity, which has just been probably the biggest storyline of the preseason.

They play hard regardless of who's on the court.
