And one of them that we've been kind of, you know... sprinkling throughout episodes we had some ones that were totally dedicated to it when the first thing started i don't know how many months ago but we're kind of getting to some more interesting turns we can actually make it a part of our quick hitters and that of course is the paramount warner brothers merger which right now seems like it's in the greatest peril that we have seen it in up until this point joe get us up to date tell us what you know

And yeah, so in the last couple of weeks, Um, the state's attorney generals have gotten together 12 of them to, uh, try to sue to block the merger.

Um, the writer's guild, uh, my union got, got up in a paramount space and sued them to block the merger.

And they went to a judge and some of the language that the judge was using in, uh, their initial read on the case, uh, Kind of caused Paramount to pump the brakes and say, oh, maybe we're not going to pass through this lawsuit as quickly and easily as we thought we could.

So they elected to put the September close by for the merger on hold so that they can pick an appropriate date for a trial trial.

For the judge to review all of the evidence and for everyone to put together their thorough cases and really have this thing literally get its day in court.

It's going to cost Paramount a lot of money once we get past September because they're going to owe Warner Brothers money every single day that this drags on.

well it really goes to show like kind of the depravity of the situation in and of itself where it's really just dollars and cents and a bunch of uh you know accountants making long-term decisions on the growth or how much they can get out of this deal and you know like you said six million dollars every day you could you can make two or three like movies that could make you back a hundred million dollars.

Like, I mean, what are we doing here anyway? So I, yeah, I look, it's, it's very frustrating to watch because, and we've talked about this.
