Yeah, I adapted it for AMC years ago and they did not end up picking it up.

And then it got sold again, I believe to Bad Robot.

So somebody else is adapting it as a movie.

I had adapted it as a TV show.

Yeah.

He has developed projects for film and television with Blumhouse, Bad Robot, Annapurna, PictureCo, Tango, Hivemind, Cloud9 and The Blacklist.

I mean, that is not just a list of production companies.

That is a tour through vastly different corporate cultures and filmmaking philosophies.

They know how to squeeze every drop of tension out of a single room.

Precisely.

Then you look at another company on his resume, Bad Robot.

JJ Abrams Company.

me so I think that's partially why a lot of them are like writers production companies they they help fund the shows that they're even writing so i think that's where a lot of that comes in unfortunately i mean look at jj abrams and bad robot you know as a director slash you know production house that's that's how he keeps getting bloody work which is mental because obviously majority of it is a poo yeah

Even he seemed to be put a little bit in a doghouse of sorts for a while, like him as a director, not necessarily Batrobot as a production house, but, I mean, since Rise of Skywalker, the first thing he did was that thing that just came out a couple weeks ago, right?

And he was everywhere before that.

He personally put in a phone call, I believe was the quote to Jeff Bezos.

who's the individual that was doing Star Trek for a little while, you know, on the TV.

He was a J.J. Abrams bad robot acolyte.

So, you know, J.J. Abrams, his, like, you know, his Hollywood effect, his shadow looms still large, unfortunately, even though he's only just come back.

And now what we have is new hires that have never worked in TV before or written.

Their first job is working for Bad Robot.

And so this is what they're writing.

And that's not a judgment.
