McCarthy is viewed by the front office and coaching staff as a long-term backup to Dart because of his ability to run a similar playbook? Also, fair or not, Dart has gotten injured a decent amount in his first two seasons." Um, before you answer that, I'm gonna push b- I don't think getting one concussion in a game and then having an unfortunate MCL injury is a decent amount of injuries.
He's the one who had the, the ACL, sprained ankle, fracture, and, and a concussion.
Uh, so we did our emergency J.J. McCarthy episode, so I, I don't wanna rehash every single thing and turn this into a 30-minute topic, because we could.
But I, I did come to a point where I was like, you know where I disag- where m- the main part of my disagreement with everybody is, Grump?
And I went back and watched film too to be like, "Am I wrong?" Right? 'Cause you even see, like, oh, like last three games of the season he had, you know, like these, these stats.
You know, his short, like his passes below 10 yards, he had like the second-worst completion rate in the NFL.
But I was like, "Let me watch throws of 10-plus yards." And you know what my two biggest takeaways were? It was number one, how the hell are they getting these guys so open? That, that was my other one.
The other one was like, man, this guy is, this is like ugly, ugly, ugly misses.
