Well, there, there's no way to get good at aging deer on the hoof without later verifying, one way or the other, your age estimate on the hoof-
... by getting, by aging that deer either by tooth wear and replacement or by cementum annuli or both after the harvest.
And the more individual deer that you can estimate the age on before harvest and then confirm or verify that age After harvest, the m- the more times you can do that on individual deer, the better you'll get at aging deer on the hoof.
Yeah, especially if you have a really good picture of that deer to go with, like, your memory of him the day-
But you can look at that and match it back up and really, really learn something.
Well, I mean, as gamekeepers, uh, we're doing everything we can to grow them and, and keep every, all the animals happy-
Uh, it's kinda like getting a little reward, you know, for your hard work, is, is to have that knowledge of-
