It's loaded with 350,000 barrels of crude oil, and officials say there's a threat of a major spill.

An oil tanker ran aground last week off Corpus Christi.

That tanker also carried oil, but there was no leak in that accident.

Right across the street, uh, from the empire state building, uh, uh, the, uh, three 62 fifth Avenue.

And, uh, believe it or not, we, uh, the business was to, uh, import oil from Venezuela and our basically work was to maintain that relationship with the people that were doing that as it were New York although we basically took delivery of the oil down in Corpus Christi Texas but that oil was used for asphalt base but that really was my initial in those years, introduction to being in New York, I was in my, uh, really, uh, uh, early thirties.

And, uh, uh, it was, uh, uh, really a time that, uh, I cherish, uh, because, uh, it really made me appreciate a lot of what New York is about.

Well, thanks for those memories.

And then there's, I believe, Charlottesville, the Little Rock Army Recruitment Center shooting.

And I'm sorry, there's quite a few more where they explicitly cite, oh, Pensacola, the Saudi- Yeah, that was- At Pensacola, Florida, and I think Corpus Christi as well.

Anyway, I have the whole list in there.

Now, these are not September 11th scale attacks, but they are what you call lone wolf bin Ladenite attacks.

We actually recorded these conversations back in July.

We were in Corpus Christi at the Texas Ag Teachers Conference.

We had the chance to sit down with four ag teachers from across the state who all bring a little something different to the table.

Different programs, different backgrounds, different perspectives.

All right, let's get into it.

Okay, folks, we are back here with the Drench Line podcast, and we had an opportunity.

We had talked about that while we were down here in Corpus Christi at Ag Teachers Conference, we wanted to sit down with some ag teachers, hopefully get a little insight into just kind of what their daily life looks like in their profession and kind of what that role looks like.

We had talked about it on maybe the previous podcast, episode eight or nine or whatever we did there at Docs, you know, just what that looks like from a sheep and goat perspective, maybe some of the things that those guys are seeing in the classroom and kind of what they're, um, you know, trying to do and trying to mold those kids and offer up as, as an opportunity for a project.

Um, we got a call like, Hey, we want to do, you know, a couple of barrel picks with new era.

And, um, we're hosting this event down in Corpus Christi, Texas.

And, uh, you know, we would love for you guys to, for one, get, get to help us do these barrel picks, uh, for the event, but also we want you all to come.

And so, um, and, you know, at the time it was just myself and, you know, I've got a couple of people that kind of help, um, know co-owners if you want to call them that partners and um we're like absolutely let's let's line this up and so we we sent samples down they picked out two barrels and uh you know all you know all proceeds going to uh this little girl named nyla um a cancer patient and um We get a call, so the event is on Saturday.

And I was like, there's no way.

And so, you know, long story short, Wednesday, I went and rented a car, a larger SUV.

We went and picked up all the bottles and we basically drove overnight down to Corpus Christi from here in Lexington with, you know, a trunk full of booze.

So they came down to do a lot of quail hunting.
