Beyond guiding, Dalton is committed to ensuring the future of the sport.

And so they start tossing off suggestions, and Paul's suggestion of pizza, or it's either Paul or Macon suggests pizza, and it's shut down immediately.

And so they're, like, going through different options, like, "Thai? I had Thai yesterday." And then Lexi says, "Quail.

You know, the party food."

Yeah.

You're right.

I remember at the last Quail and Upland Bird Festival, I said something in jest, and somebody of the opposite sex got her

feathers fairly ruffled.

Yes.

We've had a couple of politically wild shows in the very near past.

But I want to keep it kind of light and bubbly and fun.

And that's what the Quail and Upland Bird Banquet is all about.

It's all about having a good time, getting people excited about the upcoming season, making a difference in the habitat of all these wonderful things that it represents.

So we have several authors, co-authors on this paper.

The paper was really a group effort between Tall Timbers, Albany Quail Project, and the University of Georgia.

There were, let me see, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 authors on the paper.

Okay.

Um, the scenting conditions matter too.

I think, you know, I'm sure you've hunted in some cases where it's dry, you have low humidity.

are, they are notoriously hard for dogs to sometimes, cause when they hit the ground, I have seen many times where you shoot a quail.
