this case, Hebrew? Yeah, my story is interesting because I was an undergrad student at Louisiana College.

And obviously with all undergrad degrees, you're required to take a foreign language.

And so I took Hebrew with Dr. Shepard there, fell in love with the Hebrew language, fell in love with the Old Testament.

Oh, really? Yeah, he just did sort of a foreign language or an active language sort of approach where we were reading passages from Genesis, I think, by like the second week.

I went to the Caskey School of Divinity to do my master's in biblical and theological studies, and then my PhD I got from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and Old Testament studies.

these things for years, so you've got to deal with the language in every book, every article, every step along the way.

every step along the way, always looking back at the biblical text and interpreting the Hebrew, looking at the Septuagint, things like that.
