The story just presumes that God has elevated her to this position of queenship, of rule, of power and influence in order to preserve the remnant of Israel in Persia, and most people accept that as a, as a prima facie way to read the story, right? So when excessive moralizing overtakes the hermeneutic, we don't, we can't read the nuance of what is it like to be a midwife in Egypt? What does that, what does that compromise scenario require of me to honor God's will and his grace in my life and preserve the lives that I can preserve today?
