K-State vs. Houston Preview - Ep92

K-State enters the game as a bruised kitten.

3-1, 0-1 in Big 12 play.

Went into Cincinnati and got defeated.

I'm not going to say shellacked or whipped.

Certainly got whipped on the defensive line, but lost their conference opener to a team that I think a lot of us felt like we should have beat.

And of course, Cincinnati then followed that up by getting destroyed by Arizona.

And here we are.

K-State enters the game, to the surprise of some, it's two and a half point favorites.

This is starting to feel a lot like 2024, where it's Avery Johnson's first year starting, and we were favorites in every single game that we played in.

And then we saw how that turned out.

Now, that being said, we are at home, so there's three.

If it's at two and a half, right, then let's just call it a coin flip.

Houston has a couple of games under its belt.

33-20 win over Oregon State.

77-6 over Southern.

26-28 loss to Texas Tech.

Night game on a Friday.

Had a chance to tie the game on a two-point conversion.

Just came up short, but battled hard.

That's their lone loss on the season.

They also had a 42-28 win over Georgia Southern.

And then last weekend, beat UCF 27-17.

Might have been looking ahead, might have been not interested in the game, whatever.

And I could see why.

There was only 25,000 fans in their stadium.
