I mean, I, I just, it's that important of a position and a guy that's playing that, that well.

The irony is I watch Texas Tech and Houston play, and I'm not sure, Bobby, that Connor Weigman is not the best college quarterback in the state of Texas right now.

Played well, athletic.

Um, you know, Connor, Connor's came out as one of the nation's top rated quarterbacks in high school.

Um, I think that he got sideways at A&M behind the scenes a little bit for whatever reason, good or bad, um, and he's found a home at Houston.

I, I still think that I would rather, I'll, I'll just say it, I'd rather have Arch Manning behind the wheel in the fourth quarter against anybody than, than Connor Weigman.

Um, think Arch has a little bit more of a clutch gene than Connor at this point.

Yeah.

You don't think that's an advantage for Lane Kiffin? I think it's a massive advantage for Lane Kiffin.

Now, the question becomes, on the field, what version of Sam Levitt do we get? What version? Do we get the version that we saw against Clemson, who was electric, threw the ball well, but most importantly, ran the ball effectively, explosive out of the backfield as a quarterback? Or do we get the guy that turned it over three times against LaTech? Right? If he can, if he can avoid the turnovers, then LSU is obviously gonna be i, in a great spot.

Meanwhile, you've got Chambliss on the other side, and listen, man, I love Trinidad Chambliss.

This guy, I kept saying it w- Didn't I say this? I think I said it after the Louisville game.

He took, uh, FAU to Ohio State, called both of those games.

And on Fright- Friday, I was in the hotel for production meetings, and he was like, "Hey, do you wanna be part of our meeting?" He's like, "Come on in to our coaches meeting." Now, granted, it was awkward, but Lane is gonna be Lane.

So I would go in there, and I, I saw him essentially submit to what his quarterback liked and didn't like.

So he's done that with Chambliss.

Everything looks like it's on pace to be elevated in that tier that I always talk about.

But they haven't seen anything like the level of talent that they're going to have to protect Connor Weigman.

So I'm a little worried about that.

Dude, Oregon State threw the ball on Tech.

I know that's kind of, you know, boring, but I mean, Houston's want to run the ball.

They don't-- I mean, they wanna run the ball and they, they wanna keep Connor Weigman in, you know, third and short to make sure that he's not having to, you know, dissect this Texas Tech offense.

I mean, this Texas Tech defense.

And I think that's the ba-- I think that's a bad thing.

You know, it's like Connor Weigman's pretty good.
